Our standard lease term is 12 months, and that's where our best pricing sits. If you need more flexibility, we also offer shorter leases and extended-stay options at different rates. Chat to our leasing team and they'll help you find the lease term that fits your life.

Before you move in, your deposits need to be paid and your accommodation agreement signed. Your move-in costs are:

• Agreement administration fee (once-off): R1,000.00 incl. VAT

• Security deposit (refundable): 1.5 months' total accommodation fees

• Utilities deposit (refundable): R1,500.00 incl. VAT

• Key deposit (refundable): R500.00 incl. VAT

The Acre opens from 1 November 2026. If your preferred apartment is available, we can usually arrange a move-in date quickly from then. Our team will walk you through the application and help coordinate a date that works for you.

For long-term stays, you'll need:

Secure parking is available to rent for selected apartments. Availability is limited, so we recommend asking for parking when you submit your enquiry. Current rates are on our latest price list.

Yes. There's a self-service laundry room in the building, with a standard cost per wash and dry cycle.

Yes. Resident safety shaped the design of The Acre. The building has controlled access throughout, professionally managed common areas, and 24-hour on-site security personnel and reception.

Yes. All common areas are equipped with backup power.

Visitors are welcome. Each visitor needs to bring a valid form of ID (driver's licence or ID card) to be loaded onto our access control system.

• Up to 2 visitors per apartment at a time

• 1 visitor may stay overnight, provided your apartment's maximum occupancy isn't exceeded

• Visitors must leave by 22:00 on weekdays and 23:00 on weekends

Pets aren't permitted at The Acre.

The Acre is a non-smoking building. Designated smoking areas are available outside.
